The 20th EU BC&E - European Biomass Conference (18-22 June 2012) and Exhibition (18-21 June 2012), will be held in Milan, Italy.

The international science and technology conference of the 20th EU BC&E comprises more than 800 presentations, in plenary, oral and visual sessions. The 20th EU BC&E attracts policy makers and industry leaders addressing special topics which are currently in the focus of discussion.

In addition to the Conference Programme, the 20th EU BC&E features four thematic highlights with strong industry relevance. These are “Conference-in-Conference” events that fully address current hot topics in the biomass sector:

A parallel event on “Biogas upgrading and grid injection", coordinated by the German Fraunhofer Institute IWES
A special industry show on “Biogas goes Europe”, coordinated by WIP - Renewable Energies and ETA-Florence Renewable Energies
A further side event on “Biowaste to Energy”, coordinated  by the Witzenhausen Institute
A forum on “Bioenergy in Smart Grids”
